Acqua di Gio Essenza

Men's fragrance Acqua di Gio was launched in 1996 and achieved great success since then. Armani announced the release of the new version - Acqua di Gio Essenza, concentrated as Eau de Parfum.

The new scent is supposedly a timeless and intense reinterpretation of the original. Described as intensely carnal and sensual, Acqua di Gio Essenza is less focused on marine and more on woody and ambery accords. The creator of the perfume is once again Alberto Morillas.

The composition begins with luminous tones of cascalone molecule, which captures the olfactory experience of cold and fresh water, sparkling citrusy bergamot and grapefruit. The heart bares floral and aromatic accords of jasmine, basil and sage, as well as explosive floral paradisone molecule, while the base combines notes of patchouli, cedar, vetiver, ambrox, ambergris, pepper and clary sage.

Armani presented its popular masculine aquatic fragrance Acqua di Gio in 1996. Nearly 20 years later, a new version of the fragrance is launched—Acqua di Gio Profumo, elegant, airy and deep. The fragrance symbolizes the merging of sea waves with black rocks.

Acqua di Gio Profumo is an aquatic, aromatic, woody and spicy composition which is, like the original, signed by Alberto Morillas. It opens with fresh aquatic accord and bergamot. Its heart captures aromatic tones of geranium, sage and rosemary, laid on the base of patchouli and incense.

The face of the fragrance as well as of the new campaign for the original is Jason Morgan.

Acqua di Gioia

Acqua di Gioia is a new fragrance by Giorgio Armani, presented in March 2010. Seductive sea aromas in the new fragrance are put into first plan and used as creators' inspiration. Composition of the perfume is compared with woman who is ''strong, dignified and free spirit but in perfect harmony with nature''.
Inspired by several summer holidays spent on the islands of Pantelleria and Antigua, where Armani has his villas, the fragrance was lead by the idea of escape into nature, a heavenly place of real holiday where we restore the energy necessary to body and soul, and where we create natural balance.
Its flacon was made as a natural shape – water drops which are clear, airy, and pellucid.

The fragrance arrives on the market in June 2010 as a blend of refreshing notes of crushed mint leaves and lemon Limone Primo Fiore Femminello from Calabria. Structure of the composition pushes the limits from fresh citruses to a floral heart which encompasses aquatic jasmine, dewy peony and pink pepper, while a base closes with cedar, yellow sugar and labdanum. Acqua di Gioia was created by three perfumers: Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, who see it as Eve's seduction and as fragrance turned completely towards the nature.

Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche

Armani launches its new fragrance Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche in early 2013. The fragrance is a new version of the original Acqua di Gioia perfume from 2010. Other editions include Acqua di Gioia Essenza from 2011 and Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum Satinee from 2012. Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche is a fresher and lighter version of the fragrance that celebrates natural beauty.

The composition is inspired by delicate breeze, gentle shower of water and soft green leaves. Aquatic notes are more pronounced, while the floral are softened compared to the original. It opens with sparkling notes of grapefruit, Primofiore lemon and mandarin peel leading to the floral - aquatic heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine tea and jasmine water. In the background, cedar wraps around musk and brown sugar to provide long lasting effect.

Emporio Armani Diamonds For Women

This perfume was created by Thierry Wasser of Firmenich and the fragrance is classified as gourmand-floral. The top notes are litchi and raspberry, the middle notes – freesia and lily of the valley, and the base are vetiver, cedar wood, patchouli and vanilla. The Emporio Armani PR team says: ' We're using the rose but in a very gourmand way, like a flower that can be eaten'.

The face and voice of the perfume is singer and actress Beyonce Knowles, to which this is not the first appearance in ads. Before this, she appeared in Pepsi (with Britney Spears, Pink and Enrique Iglesias in one, and J.Lo and David Beckham in another), L’Oreal, and Tommy Hilfiger's perfumes True Star and True Star Gold ads.

The video and ad are in black and white and Beyonce, together with the bend, sings (and dances, of course) the famous Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend, which before her sang Marilyn Monroe in "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds" and Nicole Kidman in musical "Moulin Rouge", in which it was shown as medley with Madonna's Material girl. In the Hilfiger's True Star ad Beyonce was singing the 1970s hit Wishing on a Star of Rose Royce. Emporio Armani Diamonds was launched in 2007.

Armani Si Eau de Parfum Intense

Armani Si was launched in 2013 as a sweet scent of cassis, rose and vanilla. In 2014, Armani introduces its enhanced version Armani Si Eau de Parfum Intense. The new version is designed for a strong and passionate woman who is brave and not afraid to take risks. Such woman is conceived as very charismatic, confident, independent and sophisticated.

According to Women's Wear Daily: "Australian actress Cate Blanchett has been confirmed as the new face of Giorgio Armani Parfums, a division of L’Oréal Luxe. Blanchett, who is rehearsing for a play with Isabelle Huppert at the Sydney Theatre Company, will be the face of an advertising campaign for a new eau de parfum called 'Sí' that will hit shelves at the end of the summer. The confirmation comes after weeks of unsubstantiated buzz following press reports about a fragrance collaboration between the actress and Giorgio Armani, who have a long-standing professional relationship. Blanchett has often worn Armani creations on the red carpet and openly expressed admiration of him." Si was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel.
